Artist Research: Lucas & Steve

 

 

Lucas de Wert and Steven Jansen are a DJ’s from Maastricht, The Netherlands that work around the genre of House Music.

The duo have been around since 2010 before this they were just solo DJ’s who both had gained several years of experience in clubs in Holland and Belgium. So joining together made perfect match.

Style wise, according to their Facebook Page in there Bio the states there motto as being ‘Mixing uplifting melodies with brutal bass lines and spinning those throughout the universe!’

 

They have also been very successful as the climax of their early career was the release their remix of Red Carpet’s smasher ‘Alright’ (together with Nothing But Funk), which  charted #1 on the Beatport house top 100 for two weeks. They have also been approached by major dance record labels such as Hotfingers, Tiger Records, Natura Viva, Be Yourself Music and Grin Recordings!

There current popular song the is topping currently #1 on the Beatport charts is there remix of everybody be somebody feat yavahn which is also the song that we have chosen to make a music video for as other than its increasing popularity Lucas & Steve do what I really expect from house music videos to take a classic and remix it into great modern hit.
